Pottery, Raku and Camp

Service Description

This is a 4 hour pottery session and then camp over - for groups of up to 10. This activity is aimed at adults, but children are welcome from aged 8. Ben will demonstrate some basic throwing techniques and you can then have a go at throwing a pot on the wheel yourself. You will then get to glaze a pot that Ben has previously made and get involved in the amazing process of outdoor Raku firing. Your group will then have the meadow to yourselves - (food not provided) We provide hot and cold drinks. We have toilet and shower facilities in the meadow. (£150 per person) You get to take your Raku fired creation home with you. If you find that pottery is something you really enjoy you could sign up for one of our 5 week courses.
