Tin Can Pottery
About us..
Tin Can Pottery is a cool, unique space for people who want to have some fun, and get creative with clay.
We offer 2 hour taster sessions in throwing and slab work, 5 week courses and other pottery experiences such as Raku.
Ben's relaxed approach to teaching will enable you to switch off from the stresses of everyday life, whilst surrounded by fields in rural West Norfolk.
We are happy to adapt the sessions for larger groups - birthday occasions, hen do's, work gatherings etc
We have a beautiful space, you'll learn new skills and create some great memories.
All abilities welcome - for ages 8 upwards
The studio is closed for lessons in December, January and February, but we open again 1st March 2024. You can book you space for 2024 on the website and we have gift vouchers available (digital or paper) - a great alternative Christmas present for family and friends.
Your Tutor
Ben has a degree in Fine Art Sculpture and taught Ceramics and 3D Design in Higher Education for over 20 years.
Ben has a wealth of experience, and really enjoys helping others learn the art of working with clay. He loves experimenting with different techniques and processes, and is interested in alternative firings, such as Raku, which really adds to the excitement and unpredictable nature of making pottery.
