We think that our Pottery studio is more than just a pottery studio, it is a really special space for people who want to get creative with clay and enjoy the company of others.
Our courses will teach you new skills and encourage you to explore clay in a calm and relaxing rural environment.
You can find us a stone's throw away from the banks of the Great Ouse river in West Norfolk.
Surrounded by fields, the studio is only 8 miles from King's Lynn, 15 mins to Sandringham Estate and a 40 minute drive to the stunning unspoilt North Norfolk coastline.
We are Ben and Lisa, we have lived in West Norfolk for 22 years.
Ben is the potter and he has created the most amazing space to be able to teach what he loves to like-minded, creative humans.
This year has been really challenging for us all and has made us reflect on what is important in life, we offer a space where you can re-connect with those you love meet others and learn new skills in a safe and friendly way.
Ben got his degree in Fine Art Sculpture in 1995 and has been teaching ceramics and 3D design in higher education for the last 20 years.
Ben has a particular interest in the enginering of clay, of structures and forms, and
has a wealth of experience creating with clay and teaching others, he is really experimental with different techniques and processes.
'I am particulary interested in structural decay and damage and that underpins a lot of what I do, the nature of alternative firing really adds to the excitement and unpredictable nature of creating with clay.'
